The End of Marriage Hope

Marriage is a solemn vow where 2 people agree to spend the rest of their lives with each other. It is an encouragement and strength to all couples. But for some, their marriages end up cold and finished.

For someone to have an ended marriage, it was a very hard struggle. Waking up in the morning and going to work had become a very hard job. Going to the church and saying important words have also become very hard. Her faith was also starting to drift away. This person always believed that God is there for you and help you, but she was not feeling the same way. Since the marriage ended, she was back to working every day for the whole week so that she can support her family and provide their needs. She was also back to working at their church on evenings and on weekends.

This person was becoming an unbeliever of God. She was not feeling God in her life and she was losing hope. She believes the miracles that happened to people who need healing and breakthroughs, but she was not feeling it for herself. She was active in praying, studying, and counseling, but she did not feel that God was active in her life.

She always believed that she would go to heaven but she was not feeling any peace or joy about getting there. She felt very disappointed and was abandoned by God. She also felt that God has decided to give her suffering and failure all her life, and that this would give God pleasure. It was a sure twisted view of God, but it was something she was very sure of and something she is willing to argue with anyone. But the truth is, God loves each one of us and He is there to give us everything we need including physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

For this person, she finally felt the presence of God in her life when her pastor friend shared with her a story on how God led him to where he is now. For many years, this pastor friend had been telling her a story on the freedom that God showed him. She then remembered the first time he shared this story. She was thinking that time that finally her friend was freed by God, and now, she is feeling the same too. She realized that God is reminding her that she is also given freedom by God.

For this person, she was always affected by two verses from the bible. The firs verse was “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”, John 8:36. She was always a believer of God and Jesus Christ, and she followed all the words of the bible, but she never felt that she was free. The second verse was Matthew 18, telling the story of the unforgiving servant. This servant had a great debt and was forgiven but could not forgive the small debt of his brother. This verse was a great influence on her and she uses this as a guide to her daily living.
